1.1. Momentum Corporate Services FZ LLC is a free zone limited liability company incorporated under the laws of, and with a registered office in, the Creative Media Authority in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and whose company number is 1319 (“Momentum”, "we", “us” or “our”).

2.1. This privacy notice explains how we collect, generate, use, and process personal data (“Personal Data”) in connection with your application to work at Momentum (your “Application”).
2.2. This privacy notice was written in English. To the extent any translated version of this privacy notice conflicts with the English version, the English version will prevail.
3. What is Personal Data?
3.1. Personal Data refers to any information from which it is practicable for the identity of an individual to be ascertained.
4. The types of Personal Data we collect
4.1. We may collect and process (e.g. obtain, record, use, share, or store) the following categories of Personal Data about you:
(a) Personal Data that you provide to us, including:
Your full name and contact details (email address, telephone number, address);
Your country of birth, place of birth, and date of birth;
Your passport and/or Emirates ID number (including expiry date), UAE residence visa (if any), nationality, and citizenship;
Your marital status;
Your religion;
Your employment history, education, and qualifications (both academic and professional);
Any other Personal Data you provide in support of your Application, including information contained in your CV or supporting documents;
Personal Data provided in connection with visa or relocation processes;
Details of your spouse, children, and parents, where relevant. If you provide us with their information, you confirm that you have informed them of this privacy notice; and
Details of any current or past (within the last 5 years) directorships or other appointments you hold in any company.
(b) Personal Data we otherwise collect about you during the Application process. This is likely to include:
Personal Data that we collect from communications and correspondence with you; and
Personal Data obtained through any interviews and assessments with you.
(c) Personal Data we obtain from other sources. This may include:
Personal Data that we receive from screening, background and/or reference checks we may perform on you as part of the Application or recruitment process, which may include your address history, your qualifications (both academic and professional), or previously held directorships (if any); and
Results of criminal records checks, where legally permitted.
5. How we use your Personal Data and our legal basis for doing so
5.1. By submitting your Application, you acknowledge that your Personal Data may be used for the following purposes:
(a) to assess and consider your Application (including, in some cases, verifying your qualifications and references);
(b) to support your (and, if applicable, your family members’) relocation or visa process;
(c) to comply with our legal and regulatory requirements;
(d) to maintain consistent recruitment, HR, and administrative practices and procedures across Momentum;
(e) to ensure effective management and administration of Personal Data within our organization; and
(f) to contact you about your Application or future employment opportunities with Momentum. Retention of such data is described in section 9 below.
5.2. We process your Personal Data only where permitted by law. Depending on the circumstances, this may be because the processing is:
(a) based on your consent;
(b) necessary to take steps prior to entering into a potential employment contract with you;
(c) required to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation; or
(d) otherwise necessary for our legitimate business interests, including:
assessing your skills, qualifications, and/or the strength and merits of your Application and your suitability for the role applied for;
verifying the accuracy of the information provided;
administering, managing, and improving our recruitment operations;
ensuring a consistent approach to the recruitment of Momentum personnel; or
communicating with you during the recruitment process.
5.3. If your Application is successful, the Personal Data collected during the recruitment process will form part of your employment record.
6. Disclosure of your Personal Data
6.1. We may share your Personal Data within the Momentum group of companies for the purposes outlined in this privacy notice. We will take steps to ensure that access to Personal Data is limited to employees who have a legitimate interest in the purposes described in this privacy notice.
6.2. We may also share your Personal Data:
(a) with third party agents or service providers (such as outsourced HR service providers and consultants, background screening firms, IT and communications providers, law firms, accountants, or auditors) who are bound by confidentiality obligations; and
(b) where disclosure is required by applicable law, regulation or court order.
7. International transfers of Personal Data
7.1. Your Personal Data may be transferred to, and stored in, databases or systems hosted and maintained outside of the UAE.
7.2. Where we transfer Personal Data internationally, we will ensure that it is protected and transferred in a manner consistent with applicable legal requirements.

8.1. We take all reasonable and practicable measures to keep your Personal Data secure and confidential.
9. How long we keep your Personal Data
9.1. The period for which we retain your Personal Data depends on:
(a) the purpose for which it was collected – we will retain your Personal Data for as long as is necessary for that purpose; and
(b) applicable legal or regulatory retention requirements.
9.2. We may retain your Personal Data to contact you about future opportunities at Momentum. If you prefer that we do not retain your Personal Data for this purpose, or wish to update your details, please contact us using the details listed in section 12 below.
10. Your rights
10.1. In all the above cases in which we collect, use or store your Personal Data, you may have the following rights which you can exercise free of charge. These rights include:
(a) Withdrawal of consent: You can withdraw your consent to the processing of your Personal Data at any time. Please note, however, that withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing before its withdrawal and we may still be entitled to process your Personal Data if we have another legitimate reason for doing so. For example, we may need to retain your Personal Data to comply with a legal obligation.
(b) Access: You can ask us to confirm whether we process your Personal Data and obtain information regarding the processing of your Personal Data.
(c) Erasure: You can ask us to erase your Personal Data in certain circumstances. Please note that there may be circumstances where you ask us to erase your Personal Data but we are legally required or entitled to retain it. For example, we may need to retain your Personal Data to comply with a legal obligation or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
(d) Correction: You can ask us to rectify or complete inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data.
(e) Restriction: You can object to, or request that we restrict, our processing of your Personal Data in certain circumstances, including in respect of direct marketing. Again, there may be circumstances where you object to, or ask us to restrict, our processing of your Personal Data but we are legally entitled to refuse that request.
